From its inception, San Benedetto has always invested heavily in research.
And with sixty years of experience behind us, we’re well placed to anticipate market trends in a constantly-evolving sector such as beverages.
Our company was the first in Italy to use PET packaging. And we’ve always been quick to adopt innovations such as the Push & Pull cap and new formats like Easy, a compact format which was elected product of the year in 2011.

Water, ice tea, camomile infusions, flavoured water, fruit-based drinks, sports drinks, aperitifs, tonic water: San Benedetto produces and sells all of these beverages, making it Italy’s first Total Beverage company.
Each of our products is directed at certain types of consumer and certain patterns of consumption.
That’s why we put so much effort into producing versatile formats that are suited to specific uses.
Which makes our products easy to use and perfectly in tune with the requirements of our consumers.
Constant preoccupation with environmental issues and the need to save energy is a fundamental feature of the mission of San Benedetto.
And this isn’t a recent preoccupation: we’ve been using PET (polyethylene terephthalate) since back in the 1980s.
And we’re one of the first companies in Italy to use PET to create the lightest bottle on the market (just 8.7 g of plastic).
And the bottles we use in our Progetto Ecogreen range are made with up to 50% regenerated plastic, achieving 100% carbon neutrality.
